ทุนอุดหนุนการศึกษาสำหรับผู้มีศักยภาพเข้าศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา 

ลักษณะทุน
ทุนการศึกษาสำหรับผู้มีศักยภาพเข้าศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา เป็นทุนยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียมการศึกษาทั้งระดับปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก นับตั้งแต่แรกเข้าศึกษา ตามอัตราของหลักสูตรนั้น ๆ พร้อมทั้งค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน สำหรับผู้ที่ไม่มีรายได้ประจำ

• ระดับปริญญาโท อัตราเดือนละ 6,000 บาท
• ระดับปริญญาเอก อัตราเดือนละ 8,000 บาท

จำนวนทุน
20 ทุนต่อปี

ภาระงานของผู้รับทุน

• ระดับปริญญาโท ทำหน้าที่ทบทวนและสอนเสริมรายวิชานักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี 12 ชม./เดือน
• ระดับปริญญาเอก ทำหน้าที่ผู้ช่วยสอน (Teaching Assistant) นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี 12 ชม./เดือน

การสมัคร
นักศึกษาใหม่ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าศึกษา ในภาค 1/2560 ยื่นใบสมัครขอรับทุนได้ที่ฝ่ายทะเบียนนักศึกษาและบัณฑิตศึกษา ศูนย์บริการการศึกษา ภายในวันที่ 14 กรกฎาคม 2560

Walailak University Postgraduate Scholarship for Outstanding Students

Purpose of award

Walailak University Postgraduate Scholarship for Outstanding Students aims to produce highly qualified postgraduates at Walailak University. The funding covers the tuition fees, and a monthly allowance.

Selection criteria

• The scholarship is open to all qualified Thai and International candidates.
• Candidates must meet program-specific eligibility criteria and university eligibility criteria. Candidates should check the university website to ensure that they meet these criteria.
• The scholarship becomes due and payable only once candidates have successfully completed the registration of study in the MA or PhD program and signed the scholarship contract.
• Selection criteria include academic performance and any other tangible demonstration of academic or research ability.
  • MA program the candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent in a related field with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
  • PhD program the candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent in the related field with cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 or a Master’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent in a related field with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 or cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 with a publication. In case the applicant holds a Master’s degree (research only) a minimum of 1 publication in TCI 1 or SCOPUS or ISI listed journal must be submitted.
• Holders of this scholarship will be expected to work on a research project under the supervision of a specific faculty member.

Number of awards offered

Twenty scholarships/year.

Value

This scholarship provides tuition fees (not more than 45,000 Baht/year) and living costs totaling 6,000 Baht/month for MSc students and 8,000 Baht/month for PhD students.

Tenure of award

Two years for MA, three years for PhD (a student with a Master’s Degree) .

The application is accepted all year round.
