Philosophy
Walailak University’s Bachelor of Arts in English program strives to produce knowledgeable graduates who are specialists in their field and can effectively use their vocational knowledge. They have the skills to think critically and understand the context of diverse societies and cultures and have morality and professional ethics.

Objectivity

  2. Having an international worldview and being able to understand different cultures using English as a medium.

  1. Careers in any major extended industry. Students may enhance their English proficiency by selecting a minor course to prepare themselves for the labor market. Related industries are hospitality industry, airline industry, tourism industry, and language interpreter, etc.
  2. Any occupations or positions that require languages for communicating with foreigners, or searching for information in English, such as tour guide, public relations work, service provider, secretary, marketing, customer relations, foreign officer, etc.
  3. Academic scholars and research careers, such as teaching staff, academic scholars, researchers, translators, interpreters, etc.
  4. Careers in all forms of mass communication, such as journalist, news writer, editor, documentary writer, television drama editor, proofreader, media creator, etc.
  5. Careers in governmental organizations, in educational institutions at different levels, agencies, any governmental organizations related to tourism, community development, local governmental organizations such as sub-district administrative organizations, provincial and municipal administrative organizations, Ministry of Culture, Tourism Authority of Thailand, etc.
  6. Careers in creating various forms of art such as writer, poem writer, translator, theater artist, screenwriter, etc.
