SLA Prepares Students for “Beyond the Horizon” Program in Taiwan
On 25 May 2026, the School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University, organized an online preparation meeting for students participating in the Beyond the Horizon program scheduled to take place in Taiwan from 1–7 June 2026. The meeting was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Patcharee Imsri, Asst. Prof. Thatdao Rakmak, and Ms. Nattawan Phengboon, supervising the students in this trip.
The program involves 25 students from the English and Thai programs and aims to provide opportunities for authentic language use, broaden students’ perspectives through international experiences, and foster self-management and independent planning skills.
In the preparation meeting, students got to rehearse the language and cultural activities which will be presented by the National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) during a cultural and language exchange session scheduled for 4 June 2026.
In addition, Ms. Nattawan Phengboon shared important information regarding travel arrangements and practical preparations to ensure that students are fully prepared for the upcoming trip.
This initiative reflects the School of Liberal Arts’ commitment to promoting internationalisation through meaningful global learning experiences while equipping students with intercultural competence, global perspectives, and lifelong learning skills.
