School of Liberal Arts Hosts Language and Cultural Exchange Program for International Students, Enhancing Experiential Learning

On 17 April 2026, the School of Liberal Arts organized a language and cultural exchange activity to welcome international students, aiming to enhance experiential learning beyond the classroom at cultural learning sites in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The activity was held under the Liberal Arts International Linkage Programs April 2026, led by Dr. Kamonthip Klaibanmai, Acting Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, together with faculty members and students. The program aimed to promote intercultural learning and foster goodwill in the role of host.
Participants included 10 exchange students from Saint Petersburg State University, led by Mr. Nikolay Parfenenok, Deputy Dean for Youth Policy, School of International Relations, as well as 5 exchange students from the School of Medicine in the United States.
The participants visited important cultural sites in Thailand, including Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan and Kiriwong Village. Activities included community-based learning, natural tie-dye workshops, and creative sessions at the KiRee Natural Tie-Dye Group, a local wisdom learning center.

The program provided students with opportunities for close engagement in language and cultural exchange. It enhanced intercultural communication skills, adaptability, and confidence in language use, while aligning with the School’s mission to develop graduates for a multicultural society and to promote sustainable international academic collaboration.
