On Friday January 24, 2020, the very first semestral advisor-advisee meeting was joyfully organized by the International English Program, School of Liberal Arts (SLA). In order to cultivate the organizational sense of cultural appreciation and honor, from 7:0-8:00 a.m., advisees, advisors and willful SLA staff members merrily partook in the merit food-offering to invited monks from Klongdin Temple in front of the stately altars of the Jatukham Rammathep Statue and Great-grand Parent Tumpang next to Thaiburi Building. After the early morning culture observance ceremony, there was an advisor-advisee assemblage during which both parties were actively engaged in productive communication involving academic advices and intellectual supports. Moreover, in order to embolden the exemplary educational standing among the students in SLA’s international English program, the program head Assistant Professor Dr. Patnarin Supakorn, SLA Associate Dean, also arranged 2 small cash awarding gifts in the amount of 500 baht each to be presented to 2 students with the top grade point averages of the class after the first semester: Mr. Sivakorn Auksornnum and Mr. Wasapon Satharpon (achieving the grade point average of 3.70 and 3.55 respectively).
