On 10th October 2019, Aj. Theerawat Klaokliang (Head of Social Sciences and Lecturer, Thai Program) has passed the 3rd Batch of UKPSF (United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework). Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong (President, Walailak University), granted the Certificate of Participation at Meeting Room No.4, Technology and Innovations Development Building.
Walailak University arranged seminar and evaluation of teaching quality by integrating the evaluation on “United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF)”. The University has already arranged for 3 batches and each batch had 60 lecturers participated. The aims were encourage lecturers to be more skillful and professional in teaching as well as create analytical skills to students rather than learning by memorizing. It was very honor that Kathryne Wright (FHEA, Associate Head of Academic and Professional Development) and Andrew Hudson (Higher Education Academy Consultant) were invited to be the guest speakers.
Lately, there are 52 Walailak University’s lecturers has passed “The UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF)” in Senior Fellow 11 lecturers and Fellow 41 lecturers.
