Countdown to the Grand Finale: SLA Day 2026 English Speech Contest

The preliminary judging round of the English Speech Contest, one of the highlight competitions of SLA Day 2026, has been successfully completed!
 
The English program, School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University, would like to give a big round of applause to all the dedicated applicants and trainers.
 
Our panel of judges comprising Dr. Pushpraj Singh (School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University), Ms. Kedkarn Phanwiriyarat (School of Education), and Ms. Kanchanokchon Woodeson (School of Languages and General Education) has carefully evaluated 40 applicants from across the country.
 
Following the process, 15 finalists have been selected based on their overall scores to advance to the final round, which will take place at Walailak University on 22 August 2026. The finalists will compete in both a prepared speech and an impromptu speech for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to receive the Royal Trophy graciously granted by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, together with a scholarship and a certificate of achievement.
