English Program Selects Student Representatives for WU SLA International Speech Competition 2026

On 17 July 2026, the English Program, School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University, organized the screening round of the WU SLA International Speech Competition 2026 to select three student representatives for the program.
 
Participants delivered speeches on the role of leaders and were evaluated by faculty members of the English Program based on their public speaking skills, organization of ideas, language proficiency, and overall delivery.
 
Following the selection process, the three students chosen to represent the English Program are Mr. Sakda Promnoon, Mr. Worasorn Boonkeard, and Mr. Pichayut Bungerdlerd, 2nd year students.
 
The WU SLA International Speech Competition 2026 will be held online on 1 August 2026 under the theme “Influencers Have More Impact than Traditional Leaders.” The English Program extends its congratulations to all three representatives and wishes them every success in the competition.
