On February 1, 2024, the Chinese Program, School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University, organized a special lecture for the course CHI62-312: Teaching Chinese. Dr. Ketmadu Duangmanee, the course coordinator, hosted the event. The lecture was delivered by the distinguished Dr. Wallaya Thammaphiban Intanin, Chair of the Evaluation and Research Program at the Faculty of Education, Thaksin University. Dr. Thammaphiban Intanin spoke on “Designing Teaching Activities and Measuring Chinese Teaching According to the OLE/OLA Framework.”

The lecture incorporated the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Quality Learning (UKPSF) to broaden students’ perspectives on Chinese language teaching. It provided learners with insights from teaching experts and aimed to prepare them for future teaching careers in line with the university’s policies.
