Education and Liberal Arts students win awards at the annual Loi Krathong Festival 2023, including the Nang Nopphamat and Miss Ladyboy contests.
On Monday, November 27, 2023, students from the School of Education and Liberal Arts won first and second place in the Nang Nopphamat and Miss Ladyboy contests at the 2023 Loi Krathong Festival, held at the Main Auditorium, Thaiburi Building, Walailak University.
Ms. Buachompu Meesit, a student in the Bachelor of Arts program in English, won first place in the Nang Nopphamat contest.
Mr. Naritsara Kongasa, a student in the Bachelor of Education Program with a major in Performing Arts Studies, won the 1st runner-up award.
- Mr. Jitthipat Thongchit, a student in the Bachelor of Arts program in English, won the second runner-up award.
This contest is supported by the Arts and Culture Promotion Working Group and the Student Affairs Working Group of the School of Education and Liberal Arts. It aims to provide students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and to promote the preservation of the Loi Krathong tradition. The School of Education and Liberal Arts would like to congratulate and commend the three students on this achievement.
