School of Liberal Arts, WU has signed MOA with Muslim Santitham Foundation School to enhance integrative education quality

On Thursday 4th February 2021 between 10.00 – 12.00 hrs. the School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University was honored to welcome administrative delegates from Santitham Foundation School, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, on the occasion of signing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to prepare for the quality improvement in education. The event was held in Meeting Room 2, Academic Building 1, Walailak University.

In this regard, the School of Liberal Arts was led by the Dean, Assistant Professor Doctor Nibondh Tipsrinimit, together with the faculty’s administrative team, including Assistant Professor Doctor Siriporn Somboonboorana (Assistant to the Dean), Assistant Professor Doctor Patnarin Supakorn (Assistant to the Dean),  Ajarn Dr. Somrak Chaisingkananont (Head of Research Institute, School of Liberal Arts), Assistant Professor Doctor Patcharee Imsri (Head of English Program),  Ajarn Dr. Sirikhun Phanrangsee (Head of Chinese Program) and Ajarn Theerawat Klaokliang (Head of Thai Program).  Together, they discussed about academic collaborations, especially exchanging academic staff, developing research studies and study plans in order to prepare the students to be ready for the university. 

The administrative delegates from Santitham Foundation School were Ajarn Nopparat Sumalee (The Director), Ajarn Sunee Sumalee (Assistant Director), Ajarn Chagirine Sumalee (Manager), Ajarn Suchada Ar-Ait (Head of Foreign Languages) and Ajarn Vilawan Jaymusa (Head of the Thai Language). This academic collaboration is a great start between the two institutions to develop systematic education, as good preparation of secondary students today will positively influence their studies in the university.

Muslim Santitham Foundation School is considered as a large private school in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Currently, teaching from kindergarten to high school is under the highly academic leadership of the School’s management team. The School is also committed to continuously enhance academic quality and that is an essential reason for the collaboration this time. In addition, this MOA has related to the School of Liberal Arts’ identity which is “Mastery of Language, Multi-Knowledge, and Benefit to Society”.
