\n\tPurpose of award<\/span><\/strong>
\n<\/h2>\n

\n\tThe Center for International Affairs (CIA) is offering eligible international candidates the opportunity to apply for a Ph.D. Scholarship for Outstanding International Students.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSelection criteria<\/strong><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe scholarship is open to all <\/span>non<\/span> Thai nationally qualifying candidates. The applicants must have BA. GPA of 3.25 or more and MA. of 3.70 or more for full scholarships. For the partials scholarships require BA. GPA of 3.00 and MA. of 3.50 <\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn order to meet the WU Graduate Studies criteria and requirements, the applicants must contact their intended graduate programs for further details regarding specific admissions criteria and documentation requirements.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe scholarship becomes due and payable only once candidates have successfully completed the registration of study in thePhD programme and signed the scholarship contact.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHolders of this scholarship will be expected to work as teaching assistant or research assistant under<\/span>supervision<\/span> of an academic advisor.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSelection criteria include academic performance, referee reports, English score, and any other tangible demonstration of academic or research ability.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tEnglish Language Requirement<\/strong>
\n\tAll Doctoral international applicants are expected to have a practical command of the English language by submitting one of the following test reports: either a TOEFL Internet-based score report (500+<\/span>),<\/span> or an IELTS score report indicating 5.5 or higher. The test date must be within the previous 2 years.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
