Philosophy
Doctor of Philosophy Program in Asian Studies is the Interdisciplinary study research which is related to “Asian” in all dimensions, thinking system, philosophy, civilization, history, economy, politics, social, culture, ethnic, religions, languages, environment, etc. Philosophies and goals are;

  1. To develop human recourse in Asian research for responding to the national education and development policies.
  2. To develop acknowledgment and interdisciplinary research related to both national and international Asian regions.
  3. To connect with both national and international Asian networks.

Desirable Characteristics of the Course
1. An applicant is either in the final stage of a MA program or holds a master’s degree with a 3.00 GPA in Humanities and Social Science, Thai Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, East Asian Studies, or any related fields which will be approved by the program’s committee.
2.
Have basic knowledge in related professions such as Chinese, business Chinese for tourism, etc.
