Message from the Dean

Associate Professor Doctor Sarawoot Palipoch

School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University is determined to produce quality graduates in line with Walailak University’s visions and values: “gratitude, discipline, volunteering, leadership”. Additionally, the pedagogical conduct of the school complies with the United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), aiming for students to think, analyse and synthesise. Learning settings are also facilitated by smart classrooms. Two indicators of graduate quality are:

1) 90% of students passing a comprehensive/exit exam of the program
2) 0% dropout rate and 4-year graduation

The school has an advisor counselling system with an Assistant Dean for student affairs to help, look after and provide consultation on students’ education and other aspects. Apart from theoretical knowledge and practice, Liberal Arts students will enhance their skills of living with others in society through diverse activities run by the school and university.

Finally, I would like to reassure students and parents that the School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University will produce moral and smart graduates, who will be major workforces to develop the country in the future.
