Walailak University welcomed the visitants from Tadulako University

Executives, lecturers, and students from Tadulako University in Indonesia were welcomed to Walailak University on June 28, 2022, by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Voravuth Somsak, acting vice president, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surin Maisrikrodand, acting vice president and dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Asst. Prof. Dr. Somrak Chaisingkananont, acting vice dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Asst.Prof.Dr.Patcharee Imsri, head of the English Program, School of Liberal Arts.

Both universities held an academic conference to promote academic rigor in the first trimester of 2022 and to strategize on exchanging students in the Tadulako and Walailak English programs, as was done in the previous trimester.

Following the morning conference, Tadulako students got the chance to explore campus areas with the assistance of Walailak English program participants, and later to Mahadislamimaneeyah school to learn about teaching, schooling, and studying local southern Thai cultures.

On June 29, 2022, to exchange the knowledge with Thai participants in classes, Tadulako students joined five classes of English program, Introduction to Academic Discussion, Survey of British and American Poetry, Critical Reading and Analysis, English-Thai Translation, Introduction to English Morphology and Syntax, and Thai dancing class in the afternoon.

Tadulako University and Walailak University officially signed an MOU on January 14, 2022, but had agreed to exchange students in the second and third trimesters of 2021 prior to the MOU.
