The Research Institute, School of Liberal Arts hosted a special lecture on the topic “Social-Cultural Language Research: From Thinking Systems, Action, Power to the Object State of Language” on Sunday, August 23rd, 2020, from 1 – 4 p.m. by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yukti Mukdawijitra, an instructor of Faculty of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University and the author of “From Romantic Love to Class Conflict: Read Send Adulterer Teach Girls”, a work of Vietnamese black ethnic literature that received a National Research Council Awards 2020 for creating a conceptual framework of thinking, question, technique, and applying language research to high-level social research.
