Lecturers in Thai Program settle at Pak Phanang River for the research

During 12th – 14th January 2020, Environmental Fund Committee, Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning together with lecturers in Thai Program, School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University led by Associate Professor Dr. Boonyong Ketthet, Associate Professor Dr. Anan Areepong, Assistant Professor Dr. Nibondh Tipsrinimit, Ajarn Anutsara  Ruengmak, Ajarn Manirat Kamlangkuea and Ajarn Phatcharaphorn Salee went to Pak Phanang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province to observe the problems of mangrove forest and learn about bank of crab and shrimp field. Main objective of this visit was brainstorming with community leader and local youth of how to preserve natural resources in order to develop the research and find some solutions to handle with environmental issues. This is long-term research which would grant great opportunity to the lecturers to create some academic paper as well as develop the local community to be sustainable in long run.
